Woolshed Black and White Ball has flashes of blue and gold

The recent Black and White Ball at the Jondaryan Woolshed’s Flagstone Creek Hall attracted a solid crowd, including two Swedish women working as au-pairs in the region.

Around 60 people attended the dance on Friday, April 9th, which was catered for by Friends of Jondaryan Woolshed and accompanied by Diamonds.

Au pairs Emelie and Hanna had never met each other before arriving in Australia but have since become close friends.

They said they enjoyed the chance to participate in a traditional Australian dance.

Highlights of their working holiday in Australia have included travelling to the Whitsundays and trying Australian food such as Tim Tams and meat pies.
