Ten confirmed at Anglican Church
Ten people were confirmed at St. Andrew’s Anglican Church in Pittsworth on Sunday with Western Regional Bishop of Southern Queensland, Cam Venables presiding over the ceremony, alongside parish priest, Fr. Tony Swansson.

“We give thanks to God for these much loved and valued members of our parish family and pray God’s blessings on them as they continue their walk as fellow servants of Christ in his church,” a spokesperson for St. Andrew’s Anglican Church said.
The confirmation candidates were Mitchell Stevens, Amelia Stevens, Aeisha Stevens, Hannah Farrell, Aiden Farrell, Charlie Farrell, Sofia Thornber, Summer Lack, Taylor Lack and Judy Rafter.

Six of the candidates were relatives, namely the grandchildren of parishioner Denise Farrell.
It has been many years since the church held a confirmation ceremony.
