Southbrook school veggie garden thrives
At Southbrook Central State School, the P&C Association has developed a vegetable garden with financial assistance from the Gambling Community Benefit Fund.
The raised garden beds, fencing and irrigation system have been installed.

The Association was awarded $35,000 in the twenty-first round of funding in September 2024 to install fencing, raised garden beds and an irrigation system.

The garden is now growing vegetables vigorously and being maintained by school gardener Gary Rowen.
