Pittsworth Pelicans Cricket Club presentation night
The Pittsworth Pelicans Cricket Club gathered with players and supporters at Club Pittsworth on Friday, 27th February to celebrate the end of a successful season and present club awards.

The Central Downs competition was again played in the T20 format with the competition made up of teams from Pittsworth, Millmerran, Kulpi and Bowenville.
Pittsworth made the grand final of the competition on Sunday, 22nd February but went down to Kulpi.
Sam McGinn capped off a great season taking home Pittsworth’s Best Batsman with 223 runs.
Sam was also awarded Under 20 Player of the Year, Most Improved and was voted by his fellow Pittsworth team mates as Players’ Player.
Best Bowler was Jack Gordon with 7 wickets.
Brady Manktelow was awarded the club’s Best Fielder.
Jordan O’Shea took home the perpetual trophy for Most Outstanding Performance in a Match, for his efforts in scoring 91 not out against Millmerran.
Brett Wilson had a great season with both bat and ball, and was Pittsworth’s Player of The Year based on votes by the opposition captain each week.
The Spirit of Pittsworth Cricket award, which is awarded in honour of Pittsworth Life Member Geoff Bass for commitment, attitude, dedication and respect towards the club and the game of cricket was presented to Tom O’Sullivan.
Ben Cavanagh and Jack Gordon were also recognised by Central Downs Cricket at the presentation after the Grand Final.
Ben was awarded the Best Wicketkeeper, (5 catches, 1 stumping) and Jack received the Best Bowling Average award (16.26).
