Man charged with assault following Hospital incident
A man has been charged following an alleged serious assault at Oakey Hospital on Sunday night, March 15th.

Police arrived at the Hospital in relation to an investigation just after 7.30pm that day.
Whilst speaking with the alleged offender, the 24-years-old Zillmere man become aggressive and physically violent with police, allegedly punching one officer several times in the head.
When a second officer attempted to restrain the man, the Zillmere man allegedly kicked the officer in the chest.
He then allegedly struck the first officer in the head several times with his knee before being restrained by police.
The 24-years-old Zillmere man was charged with two counts of seriously assaulting a police officer and one count each of seriously assaulting a police officer causing bodily harm, and conduct causing a public nuisance.
He is next due to appear in the Toowoomba Magistrates Court on Wednesday, April 15th.
