Full House for Letton and Coombes at Gowrie Little Plain

Brian Letton and Dianne Coombes performed to a sell-out crowd at the Gowrie Little Plain Hall on Sunday.

Mr Letton and Ms Coombes were well received by the crowd, which included a contingent from Palm Lakes Resort in Toowoomba.

The Western Australian-born Letton performed two songs about his home state “G’Day from WA” and “The Boyatt Brook Waltz” as part of his set.

Ms Coombes was making her first appearance at Gowrie Little Plain following a great year for her in 2025, when she was named a finalist in seven Categories of the Independent Country Music Awards of Australia, at the Australian Bush Balladeers Association Music Excellence Awards, and at the Tamworth Songwriters Association Awards.

The pair is set to return to Gowrie Little Plain Hall for Mother’s Day in 2027.
