Circus performance at Back Plains

Terry the Great has been performing for 30 years and on Monday he popped out to Back Plains State School to put on a show for the students and staff.

Students and staff were treated to a performance from Terry the Great, juggler extraordinaire.

While it was tied into some drama studies; movement, performance etc. it was also a fun morning for the kids.

After his performance students were treated to circus workshops, learning all the tricks of the trade from veteran-twirler-Terry.

The workshops ranged from juggling to hula-hooping.

He wowed the crowd with his juggling, which stepped up a notch when he pulled out the unicycle.

Three volunteers were called up from the adults in the crowd and all three adults experienced a moment of terror, when they thought they might have to be the one to ride the unicycle.

The students had a blast, with plenty of smiles, laughs and cheers.
