A great day had at athletics carnival

Recently Cambooya State School held its annual school athletics carnival.

As is often the case, it was the coldest day of the year so far and presented some challenging conditions for both the students and the spectators.  

But despite the weather, there were some fantastic results and everyone did their best and had a great day.

Congratulations to our Age Champions on the day, Harley, Alyssa, Tanner, Jack, Jahrome, KT, Will, Georgia and Peyton.

One new record was set on the day. 

Congratulations Corben on a new discus record.
